about Far Out Fiber.

hi friends.

i'm jj, the hands and brains behind Far Out Fiber. i started fiber arts as a teenager, then picked it back up post-pandemic to give my busy hands something to do. in 2022 i did my first market and fell in love with the community of artists that make this worth spending my weekends doing.

my philosophy of fiber is that it should be accessible to all- bodies, genders, ages & walks of life. whether you are purchasing an item, taking a workshop or just stopping by the booth to say hi, you are welcome in this (outer) space. 

when i'm not crafting, i love spending time outside with my partner and our pup, or curling up & reading with our kitty on my lap. i collect bugs, cook, and love women's hockey.
